Fun with lighting product shots

These are just some fun product shots I did. Shooting stuff that doesn't move really gives you the time to play with light.

A few portraits from the archives

I've been meaning to post some of these for awhile now, so here they are.
This is Thomas Snyder, the world Sudoku Champion. I photographed him for the Chronicle of Higher Education.

This is David Schwartz, a children's author.

This is Mary Roach, an adult author.

This is Maria Sanchez, an OCO leader who testified for Save Lives Now.

This is Bill Russell who came to visit his alma mater and congratulate my Mack boys.

These are photos of Frank Otis and Alex Carbonal, the East Bay basketball players of the year.

The Latest From My BART Project

Alison and I were driving around West Oakland and all of a sudden we saw this guy in an empty lot with the tracks behind him. This man is collecting recyclables for money while the people on the BART pass by oblivious to what is going on below.

This little kid refused to sit with his family.
